When Kate Castillo enrolled in The Interns Hub's virtual internship program, she wasn't sure what to expect. A third-year communications student at UP Cebu, she had never worked in a corporate setting before.
"I was nervous at first," Kate admits. "But the onboarding process was so smooth. Within the first week, I was already working on real projects — creating social media content for the company's Philippine team."
Over the course of her 12-week internship, Kate developed skills in content creation, social media analytics, and brand strategy. She also built relationships with her team that would prove invaluable.
"The best part was the mentorship. My supervisor took the time to review my work, give feedback, and help me grow. It felt like they were genuinely invested in my development."
When a junior marketing position opened up after her internship, Kate was the first person they called. Today, she's a full-time Digital Marketing Associate at Accenture, working with clients across Southeast Asia.
"The Interns Hub didn't just give me an internship — they gave me a career," Kate says. "I'm proof that virtual internships lead to real opportunities."
